I removed your other post since it was essentially the same. our read before posting post on the forum has the guidelines for posting on the forum.
std testing 5-6 weeks post encounter is enough time for gonorrhea, chlamydia, trich and syphilis. it was too early for testing for herpes, hiv and hepatitis. you have to wait at least 3 months post encounter for that testing to be accurate.
1 out of every 3 of us contract hsv1 before we even step foot into public school. over time, most of us do contract it until by the time we are retired, about 80% of us have hsv1. Only 20-40% of folks who have hsv1 orally, ever get obvious cold sores to know that they are infected. http://www.ashastd.org/std-sti-works/Herpes/oral-herpes.html has terrific info on oral herpes for more reading.
could this be oral herpes reactivating? could be but more likely this is just chapped lips. keep applying the lip balm you are using - it won't do any harm regardless if either is the cause of your current symptoms.

I had an unprotected sex (non penetrative) about 1.5 months ago and that is what causing me these concerns. I also test for other STDs (Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and syphilis) all those came up as negative.
If I spent time outside in fresh air it is of-course a good stress relief. But at the same time, I am afraid it may make the dry lips worse and in turn cause sore lips.
