Early treatment of primary outbreak prevents latent virus?

Early treatment of primary outbreak prevents latent virus?

hello,
My question is: I read on the internet that early antiviral treatment of a primary herpes outbreak can reduce the amount of virus that lies dormant in the nerves.  I had a single small unidentified, pimple-like, non-itching red bump on my penis since having protected vaginal sex with one girl the previous night, and a different girl two weeks prior.  Thinking it was a pimple I 'popped' it, and it flattened into a red patch about 1 mm diameter.  There is no fluid, and no itch or discomfort but it has a scab which falls off when I walk around during the day and occasionally reforms at night.  It has been 10 days since I discovered the bump.

Is it absolutely too late to get it diagnosed and, if positive, receive early antiviral treatment??
Could it just be a pimple?  Or another STD, like first stage syphilis?

Because I have no insurance or money, but if I can still get diagnosed and receive early antiviral treatment to reduce future outbreaks, I will borrow money.

The situation is complicated by my living in a foreign country.
Please, please advise me.  There is nobody here really to turn to.

Thank you so much..................!!!!

IF this is Herpes which I don't think it is there isn't much you can do about it now other than go to your Doctor and see what he suggests as far as treating it is concerned.
If you are concerned you should have a test done but you are probably worrying for nothing.

Thanks for your advice-- my problem is, while I speak the local language decently enough to order food or get a cab, I don't really know medical lingo and I can't find a doctor who speaks English, who isn't out of my price range.  But I'll keep looking... !

By the way-- I don't know if you're a medical professional, but if you are--
if this doesn't sound like herpes, do you know of any other STDs that fit this profile??
I'm worried sick!
