The University of Washington website has details on obtaining the WB HSV test.
Westover Heights Clinic also has a great website and all contact details.
Thank you! I appreciate your response. Where can I get this information?
Yes you could try a Herpeselect once again. There is a reasonable chance that it will again be a low positive result. But it is also possible it will be negative.
The WB will get you there more conclusively with just the one more test. It does cost a bit. You can become a phone patient of Westover Heights Clinic and they will do everything over the phone with you and arrange for blood collection at another clinic. Your results can be phoned through too I believe.
Could you explain your thoughts to me?
Should I try herpselect once again and then WB?
I'm only 19 and I live with my parents and having something like that mailed to the house wouldn't go over well and I also go to a military clinic so it would be difficult to get blood drawn to send.
Yes this is potentially a false positive and these arise for a few reasons. You need to confirm the test result.
The Westernblot is the best way to do this, the result will be conclusive for you.
