False negative?

I recently tested negative for the HSV2 blood test. I tested at 0.46 at about 6 weeks post suspected exposure. This was after a painful, pus-filled lesion appeared on my left labia. It took about 2 weeks to heal, but ever since then my vulva, particularly the left labia, has not been right. I get a tingling sensation down there all the time. The left labia feels irritated, and it sometimes feels like there's a knot/lump or something deep inside, sort of in the crease between my vulva and inner thigh. Could it be a swollen lymph node? I also feel a piercing, sharp, shooting pain in addition to dull aches. I feel the tingling all over, but I only feel the sharp, shooting pain on my left labia and somtimes my left leg, right under my buttocks. I can walk pretty comfortably as opposed to when I had the lesion. Could these be herpes symptoms? Did I receive a false negative? The guy I'm with said he's never tested positive for herpes, and I've never seen sores on him. What could this be?

I am now seeing a weird cluster of bumps on my arm. It's raised in the middle and there are smaller bumps around it. Could it have spread to other parts of my body?!

No. Herpes aren't "bumps". They're superficial waster blisters like burns that pop and form ulcers.
As well as the arm being a different nerve group

So I assume she didn’t do a pcr swab? That would’ve given the most clarity as to if the bump was herpetic or not. If you get any further bumps or sores, insist on a pcr swab. Considering it appeared after a month from any sexual contact, that would be very late for a primary outbreak. A follow up test at 12 weeks would be a safe bet, just to rule things out. The test should be an IgG.

No, it wasn't a swab. She insisted that the blood test would be accurate even though it had  only been 6 weeks. I don't think the sore ever crusted over or anything. It just slowly stopped hurting, the swelling went down, and that part seems to be fine now. I just have all of these other issues.

IgG blood test at 6 weeks have an accuraccy of 50%. Meaning 50% of people will show antibodies detectable by IgG testing at 6 weeks post possible exposure

Did you have the leison on your vulva examined by a clinician? How soon after sexual contact did it appear?
I am not saying that this is a herpes leison but it would be really wise to have it examined. Herpes sores/leisons aren’t puss-filled. They are clear blisters and sometimes can present as superficial cuts.

Yes, she examined it and suggested I take the blood test so I did it that same day. I noticed it about a month after the sexual contact. Also, it was only one sore that was oozing a pit.
