False positive question

by Jenny579, Jul 29, 2009 02:23PM
I am new and am wondering if anyone can help.  My hsv 1 antibody test came back at 1.78.  It was herpeselect Igg.  Could this fall into the false positive range or do I have hsv 1 for sure?  Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar experience. Took the Biokit test and it came back neg. You have a high likelihood of this happening as well, unless you were recently exposed. God get the other test.
