Lets put the oral HSV-1 stops you from catching it genitally as well aside. Lets say you did catch it genitally from oral sex with an established infection. Would your first outbreak or "initial" in the "genital" area consist of multiple small sores/blisters with white heads or just one by itself?. And if so how long would the sore/sores take to break open or "ulcerate" once they appear.
It would be very likely that you'd experience a small outbreak. It's likely though that the same process and timeframe is involved. Little raised red patch perhaps a blister or two inside lasting a few days then ulcerating perhaps with a scab and proceeding to fresh skin by 7-10 days.
