First time with a STD!!

I recently have my results for  HSV 1 & 2 Herpeselect  test. My results for the HSV 1 IGG Specific AB was 0.11 while the result for the HSV-2 IGG Type was 3.46.  I've never had any herpes symptoms or neither a breakout. I came back with my boyfriend 2 months ago after 6 months separated. The Dr. explained that I DO HAVE THE ANTIBODIES and that probably I will feel a breakout soon. I've been reading a lot, and I found out that a person has before a breakout some flu-like symptoms. I've been having this horrible headache, with fever, sneazing and dry mouth for three days. At the beggining I thought I was a Bad Sinus or The Influenza. The Dr. Just told me to relax, and to buy some Zyrtec. (This was 2 days ago)

Last night my bf did a complete scan of my body and found nothing and I did the same to him. We both found nothing. It is possible to my HSV 2 be a false positive?

Even though I never had the symptoms, last week I asked my Dr. for a complete STD checkup cause my bf found he was positive to Chlamydia. (I also came back positive to that test but took the antibiotic already and right know is the least of my worries).

Please help!!!!

hi also. If the test you took states that any number below 1.2 is negative and any number above 1.2 is positive, then any number below 3.5 would be considered a false positive in need of another test.

your symptoms you are having sound like a cold, not herpes symptoms.

you can't see signs of herpes on your body unless you  have obvious symptoms.

Did your bf get tested for herpes to know his status?
