Follow question about herpes 2

Hi Grace as you will notice, I had posted a question on the expert forum and got an answer from Dr. H. However due to posting rules I figured I'd ask a followup to Dr. H's response.  I've done more researching into the issue and have been to sites where people who have been diagnosed with HSV 2 and talk about having prodromal symptoms for more than 2 weeks, some even said 2 years. The more I read these posts the more it sounds like my symptoms match theirs. I mean some even are saying muscle twitches and tingling nimbleness in the face is a prodromal symptom?!  I believe every word of advice dr. H and Dr Hook on his posts to others, guess my question is for those who do have it, it seems they base every single sensation or symptom to prodromal herpes, so where is the clinical evidence that supports their statements? Many of them seem very jaded towards health professionals and their info seems to be obtained from other posters or the "Internet" which in many cases with exception of here seem very detrimental in certain health situations.  Thanks in advance grace.

sounds more like a fungal infection or folliculitis.  be seen each time you have symptoms for a proper exam.

Thanks for the reply grace. I just had one more inquiry about my buttocks situation. Both cheeks itch and burn and some of the red bumps become filled look and feel blistery. There seem to be a bunch of them even my hair follicles seemed raised. They individually itch burn and one I think has burst and seems to be scabbing. Seem to have a few on upper inner thighs and  tops of thighs. And yes my buttocks and inner thighs are hairy. Just wondering are there any other skin conditions that can cause these symptoms? Again you go to to search on them and yep the H word pops up.
Sorry to seem neurotic,. Just too many question marks floating in the head thanks again

Unfortunately too many people come across others online who don't hesitate to believe that everything is due to herpes, whether diagnosed with it or not.  It adds to the anxiety of others, like yourself :(

Should yoube thinking herpes as a cause of your symptoms?  Absolutely not!   As HHH already told you , herpes would not cause constant symptoms for years and would never only cause symptoms with urination.  follow up regularly with an urologist as.needed to try to get to thebottom of things.  avoid alcohol, caffeine and spicy foods too.  also make sure you only use a sex lube for masturbation too and nothing else.
