Genital HSV-1 Diagnosis and Ocular Risk

Hello experts and members, my girlfriend was recenly diagnosed with genital HSV-1 about a month ago. She had her first outbreak a month ago which was very painful with sores. What are the chances that she or I may have spread it to her eyes a well?  I have no reason to believe she has but is it possible and common to have genital and ocular hsv-1 simultaneously? I'm guessing there is no way to tell if she has unless she gets an outbreak in her eye, right? Ocual herpes sounds very scary and I'm just worried about her.

it's very unlikely it's spread to her eyes.   Honestly I wouldn't worry one bit about it.  typically hsv1 in the eyes is from oral hsv1 reactivating and going up the nerves and into the eyes and causing issues when it comes to adults.
