Genital Herpes

Hi! I need your help regarding genital herpes.

first of all, I had blood test and here are the results:
IgM-HSV 0.50       /        IgG-HSV 10.00

The doctor told me I should test again after six months to make sure if it is herpes or not as I may had the cold virus.. however I am completely fine with no flu so I am confused whether I have genital herpes or not.

Question 01: according to the results and the pictures that follows can you say if I have genital hepres ?
pictures:

Question 02: if I have the virus, can I transmit it through my friend with whom I live and share the same kitchen utensils, we even use the same spoons but of course after washing them.

Question 03: could the virus transmit through smoking "hookah" with a friend as there could be saliva contact.

please give me accurate information and don't answer if you are not sure

Thank you very much

well it appears then that you had the wrong herpes blood testing done. your results appear to be combined igg blood testing which is a waste of time and money :(  You will need to repeat your herpes igg blood testing with a type specific herpes igg blood test to get better answers. since you are not in the US, I am limited in how I can help you with results though once you do get the right testing done.

as an adult, oral herpes is almost exclusively transmitted through romantic type kisses. it's not something you would contract from sharing food or drinks. it's also not something you'd get from sharing a hookah.

responses like the  last one are another reason why we don't allow pictures to be posted.  you don't know squat about what the poster does for a living and please don't take their response as meaning you really do have herpes.

hey bud,

I gotta tell you.. i am new to this post and didn't realize you are not supposed to be looking at the pix. i did, that is not normal and it looks like u herpes. next time just make sure u wear a condom. the first couple of out breaks are going to be rough but will get better as you move forward.

consult a doctor and get on valtrex or whatever they can prescribe you to keep from recurrent break outs. you do have to tell your partner (person you are going to intercourse with) that you do have that. They deserve to know if you plan on being sexually active with them.

if a lab locally uses the herpeselect or captia herpes igg blood tests, both of them are reliable.

Thank you very much Grace for giving me hope :-)
Suppose that I am in the US. what test should I ask about ?
You may tell me ask the doctor, you are right. and that's what I did for the test above without certain results.
so please what the type of test should I take then I go to ask for that specific test.
Thank you
