Genital herpes transfer

Question 1 - If I have genital herpes but I choose never to have sex again, am I still at risk of transferring it to someone else ?

Question 2 - if I have genital herpes is my saliva safe? Can I make out with somebody or share a coffee or a cigarette ? Does the virus shedding after the primary outbreak always occur at the genitals or can it happen anywhere on the body ?

Thanks a lot. Are u totally sure about this ?

I have some red bumps on my penis. I read about it online and came to this conclusion. If somebody else touches my towel after I take a shower is there any risk of transfer as I currently do have the bumps/sores, so my towel might touch the bumps ?

The answer to your questions lies in the fact that genital herpes is restricted to your genitals. Only those you have sex with essentially are at risk. No where else on your body carries the virus.

Why do you think you have herpes?
