Gential HSV1

I was told i had gential (genital) hsv1 about a month ago my dr put me on Acylovir and im doing okay what i am woundering is now i hve vaginal dryness that it  is pretty uncomfortable... I had did hve chlymida a yr ago (i was attacked where i went to school) but last september i had myself retested and negative... What my question is that does  the meds or hvng hsv 1 cld that be cause for the dryness or do i hve to deal with yet another problem the  person who hurt me gave me

what testing did you have that showed that you have hsv1 genitally?

what dose of acyclovir and how long?

vaginal dryness is not a herpes issue or an acyclovir issue. go back and be seen and get a proper work up done for it.  sometimes what folks think is dryness, is actually irritation from infections like yeast and bacteria so proper testing is a good idea.
