12 weeks ago, I got a positive HSV2 IGG result from Quest of (2.6). Was not tested for HSV1. Two days ago, I got a negative HSV2 and HSV1 IGG result from Labcorp of <.91 for both. I've had no skin issues but I did have some tingling and burning sensation. My urologist thinks its Prostatis and will put a camera up my penis to see whats going on. For the past 3 months, I was sure that I had Herpes (HSV2). Became very depressed and lost sleep. The gal that I have been dating for the past 16 weeks is of questionable health (not tested in past 2 years) and recently got a mouth sore. We avoided kissing and oral sex since she got the sore. So now that I have a negative result, should I believe it? If I kiss that gal after the sore goes away, will I get HSV1? If she performs oral sex on me after the sore goes away, will she pass it? How can I be negative for both types if we kissed a lot for months and she gave me a lot of oral sex 4 months ago? None of this makes sense!
