HELP PLEASE! !!

About 9years ago I had my first outbreak of cold sore orally and I haven't had one since then.On the 2nd I performed unprotected oral sex on my partner who I've been dating for 3months, during that time I had no symptom n no active cold sores,  n he's never had in cold sore negative for 1 n 2. On this Thursday he had a server headache n burning sensation all over but no gentile symptoms. N he haven't had a headache or burning sensation since then, just fever like symptom but I am terrified that he is having signs n symptom of gentile hvs1. It's been 16 days since exposure no gentile symptoms but still a fever.

How long should it actually take for initial outbreak?
Is it possible that he has been exposed to the virus?
When is ok to play it safe. Please help. After reading alot of information on here n on the Internet I never know that someone could transmitted the to someone with no visible sores.

I don't, I figured if there was anything unusual down there like a blisters or sores he would definitely let me know with no hesitation. But I do ask a lot of questions everyday n it is kind of getting pretty obvious, since it's been  3weeks now since I performed oral sex on him I been kind of easing up off of the questions even though he's still feeling a little fatigue. it's just so hard.

Sorry to keep coming back to this post with questions n which u guys might have already answered, but I'm curious to know that since most website say gentile symptoms can appear any between 2-20days. So my question is that is it possible to have an initial outbreak right at day 20 for a newly infected person.  The reason I asked is because on the 13th 10days after exposure symptom of headaches and fever developed, on the 15th headache was gone but the fever was still there, on the 18th n 19th fever was gone but muscle aches had appear, 20th-22nd started to feel really tried. STILL NO BLISTERS, BUMPS NOR SORES. Saturday will make 3weeks since exposure, which all happen 3rd  which makes 19days todays. could someone please give me some advice on this

In the vast majority of cases, a herpes infection results in a number of blister patches that are a little painful or are very itchy.

Other symptoms are related to the immune system commencing to work such as lymph nodes and slight muscle aches, lower back being the most common.

The symptoms will be genital region focused and tend not to be headaches.

Just remember it is more likely than not that he already has HSV1 such that this is no concern.

An initial outbreak occurs 2-10 days after infection.

I'm very scared to have a conversation with him about this because I don't know how he is going to react.n no I honestly don't know his actual hvs1, but I did ask him if he's ever had a cold sore n he replied with no. I said nothing else to him after that because I was to scared to. Sorry I don't mean to keep asking questions I'm just scared after reading information on here n online saying fevers, headaches,  n muscles aches are sign of and initial outbreak n can appear 2-3 weeks after infected.  I am going to try to relax since he still haven't develope any blisters or sores after 18days now it's just really hard. Since he's still having these bad muscles aches.

Lives are not ruined simply because of a genital herpes infection. Most people do not disclose that they have an oral HSV1 infection, but it is quite alright to do so.

Your partner is fine, his illness has nothing to do with herpes. Have a discussion with him about it.

Do you really know his status? Not having a cold sore is not proof of an absence of a HSV1 infection.

I have guilt because I never told him that I had cold sore as a child, because I never know it could spread with a visible sore.Never in a million years would I want to give someone else something that they can not get rid of. It's day 18 n he is still having muscles aches no headache nor fevers now just muscles aches I'm still not sure, this has been going on since the 12th of this month n really really scared that I could have ruin his life.

I am not sure why you need to feel guilt. There are 2 billion women on the planet with oral HSV1. Your partner will be exposed in his life in all likelihood. This is an accepted risk my males around the world, I really doubt they would have it any other way.

No, day 17 is too late for an initial outbreak. With no sores, the symptoms are incredibly unlikely to be related to herpes.

Most of the time, a fever is a fever.

Hi, since you had no active lip sore the risk you passed it to him genital would be close to zero. Most with first time oubreaks ocurr in the first week  and a fever would not last that long associated with hsv
