HERPES or NOT

I had cold sores on my lips once in a year for all my life but fortunately it doesn't come back for past 3 years. 3 months ago me and my partner passed blood tests for HIV and STD. Results: HSV1- POSITIVE, HSV2- NEGATIVE. I've been only with same partner whos results negative for both. I also was taking antibiotics (Monodox) for more then 2 months for my skin problems.
Now... I have outbreak on my genitals for the first time!  Very small infected area, doesn't bother me much. I went to see gyn today. She was "not sure if it herpes" but gave me Zovirax. She didn't take any tests.
I'm very concern about her answer. Also planning to see another doctor and maybe pass another test for HSV. But its almost weekend, hard to find anyone. But I want to have piece of mind! Is it possible that she made mistake? My blood test says that i don't have HSV2 and i'm sure that i didn't have any chance to get it.

it's unfortunate that your provider didn't do any lesion cultures on your symptoms.  If you and your partner both had herpes igg blood tests done that were negative, odds are this isn't due to herpes anyways.

How long before you both had gotten tested 3 months ago had you last had other partners?
