HERPESELECT IGG TYPE SPECIFIC TEST

Hello~

I'm waiting for my 4 months mark for herpes blood test.

yesterday, I got the results for my 6 weeks mark test.
My doctor was telling me that I have to retest again in another 6 weeks.

When I got home, a question popped up on my head.

I've been told that it takes people infected with herpes 2 weeks ~ 4 months to have enough antibodies to test positive.
But, does the antibody level goes up slowly during the period of time?
Or, does it just pop up to the positive level one day from negative.

I couldn't find any information about this anywhere.

In theory it would rise somewhat over time if you were infected.  Some folks take longer than others until they reach the +.
