HIV+ now worried about Herpes

by HIV1Worried, Nov 07, 2009 09:09AM
Hello,

I am a 41 yro heterosexual male who is HIV+ (actually diagnosed with AIDS).   I found out 10+ years ago and have been taking treatment since finding out.  I went to a strip club less than a week ago and had a private lap dance.  I did touch her vagina and she did kiss me.  Now 4 days later I have rash on my right side of my buttock, my scrotum is very painful and dried out, and it also looks like I have liaisons on my tip and shaft of the right side of my penis.  After touching her vagina I did use the restroom to urinate and then washed my hands thoroughly AFTER urinating.  Because of my compromised immune system could I have caught Herpes from touching her vagina then my penis to urinate? I am a little worried I may have caught Herpes from this episode.

Most unlikely since lapdancers are usually monitored very closely for STD's in the first place, unless it was a particularly sleazy joint you visited ..... either way it's not very likely that you would get Herpes fom this encounter !!!
