I have just recently been diagnosed with HPV & Herpes . What exactly will these STD's do to me ?

I have been taking Valtrex for 4 days now . Twice a day . My lower back is hurting , and I am shaky sometimes , is Valtrex doing this to me ? And , could it harm me ?

I talk to my mom and my boyfriend about it . They are very supportive . But , yes I am going to get on the birth control pills or at least talk to my doctor about it .
The urine sample was probably for chlamydia.
Just trying to make sure you get the proper testing - your future fertility, many, many years from now depends on it.
Definitely think about birth control pills if you are going to continue to be sexually active.

I can try the pill , I will talk to my Doctor about it . She never scraped my cervix and I did give a urine sample but the nurse said it was for infections or something like that . When I go get my Acid treatment , should I ask her to do a urine culture and check my cervix ?
why not try the birth control pill?
Sounds like you had a reaction to the adhesives in the patch which is fairly common.
did you also give a urine specimen for std testing or were they testing for chlamydia from your cervix?

I just googled it . My allergic reaction the the Depovera - it was in my system for a year and I was itching all over my body that whole year and breaking out into rashes . Ortha Evra - The patch was itchy and made blotchy red marks on my skin .
The full STD testing - I'm not sure but they took like 4 tubes of blood . Would that be the full STD testing ?

You can google the iud and the cervical cap for more info on them.

Definitely start using condoms. They really do work to reduce your risk of std's in general and of course you don't want to be pregnant at your age!

No , I have not tried the cervical cap . I will talk to my doctor about that and what is an IUD ? I have tried depovera and ortha evra patch . Had allergic reactions to both of them . Yes , I'm pretty sure they did a full STD testing on me at my app.

He might have it we are not sure yet , but he is going to get it checked out we just don't know when . Thanks for the advice btw .
I have allergic reactions to different types of birth control and my boyfriend and I are going to use condoms DEFINITELY from now on . I have told him what I have and it does not bother him , he said that he loves me no matter what .
If your boyfriend does get it (if you had a hard to see outbreak for instance) it would protect him from getting infected in the... more painful areas if you used protection.
Please get used to condoms - some brands are much better than others. There are non-latex versions as well if allergic reactions are a concern.

I try not to be judgemental but you are really setting yourself up for a world of problems down the road with your current behaviors. Why are you risking your long term health this way?

No I am not on birth control , I was but I am allergic to almost all kinds , I do not use condoms . They did not test for yeast or bacterial infections . I just called my doctor and she said that they are still waiting on those results back . I have a cold sore on my lip but I have only given oral once and that was with my boyfriend like a day after we had sex he would not have had herpes that soon . My doctor said that usually people with herpes are more prone to get cold sores and it not be serious . Is this true ?

I can best help you with the herpes blood test results if you can call and ask them to read them to you to post here. All I need to see if the numeric results - ie hsv1 igg 4.4 and hsv2 igg 2.3 or whatever they are. Then we can see if you need additional testing or not done.
did they also test your vaginal secretions for yeast and bacterial infections too when you were there?

I went to my doctor and they diagnosed me with Genital Warts and said that I had been exposed to HPV . I had a red area down there that was swollen so she blood tested me and I called yesterday to see if my results were back and she said I tested positive for Herpes type 2 . I have a blister at the tip of my vagina and I started the Valtrex last night and the burning and itching sensation has stopped , well not completely but its not as bad as it was . Yes I have a partner he knows I have it , but I know 100% I did not get it from him . I have had 9 partners since march of 08' including my boyfriend . I have no clue who I got it from . No he has not been tested , my insurance pays for me to get tested . He does not have insurance . So , he has to pay out of pocket . When he gets into the military and has his benefits then he will get tested for free .

How were you diagnosed as having genital herpes? what testing has been done? do you now if you have hsv1 or hsv2 genitally? Do you have a partner and if so have they been tested yet?
External warts are just a cosmetic concern. had you had your gardasil shots? the doctor will burn them off with the acid at your appointment and then if they come back within the next year, go and be seen again for repeat removal.

I have Genital Herpes and Genital Warts HPV . I go to my doctor in 2 weeks to get acid put on the genital warts and they gave me Valtrex for the herpes , I am very very scared . Is there anyway you can help me ?
What type of herpes do you have? Orally or genitally?
What kind of hpv infection do you have? A cervical infection or external genital warts?
