HSV, IGM I/II Combination

I was recently tested for everything.

My concern is as follows:
Apparently there were 2 herpes tests:
HSV 1 and 2-Specific Ab, IgG = (no results yet, "will follow")
and
HSV, IgM I/II Combination = (1.17)

At first the doctor told me I was negative for everything. Then I asked for a print out and saw the 1.17 is above the 1.09 positive indicator. Then he started talking in circles.

Could someone please explain this to me?
Thank you in advance for your help.

To be clear, I am okay with everything except this 1.17 indication and the fact that the IgG will follow. What does 1.17 mean? and What will I learn from the IgG results?

Thank you.

herpes igm testing is flawed testing and current cdc recommendations are that it not be drawn on adults. your provider should update their testing knowledge and stop ordering it on adults. A + igm really doesn't give you any answers at all.

how long prior to this testing had you last had sex?
