HSV 1 & 2 Results

I had a sexual encounter 27 days ago. I was told by partner 3 days ago she was positive for HSV2 and that she has multiple symptoms of HSV2. I have no symptoms; nor have I ever had any symptoms. I took test yesterday and my results today come back NEGATIVE for HSV1 and HSV2. Both scores simply read "< 0.91" The test then gives ranges. Anything "0.00" to "< 0.91" is called negative. The Score "0.91" is the start of the equivocal range and my test reads that I have less than "< 0.91" so there is clearly no antibody present and I do not have HSV1 or 2, correct?

as long as it's been at least 3 months since you last had sex with anyone other than this partner then you can trust your negative results.

encourage your partner to read the free herpes handbook by terri warren ( just google it and send her the link ) and let her know where to come post for help if she wants it :)
