HSV-1, oral or genital??

HSV-1, oral or genital??

I recently had some blisters and red bumps on my penis but the conditions were not severe so I was unable to have a culture, it was the first time I had such symptoms, and I went to have a blood test and I was tested HSV-1 positive and HSV-2 negative. So I am wondering if I have oral or genital HSV-1? I recalled that I've had cold sores before, happened about 2 to 3 times in the past, what is the chance that I am oral HSV-1 positive? If I am oral HSV-1 positive, does it mean that my positive HSV-1 result is oral and not genital? And if I am oral HSV-1 positive, what is the chance I have passed it to my partner through kissing in all these years? Please help!
