HSV 1 QUESTIONS, CONFUSED

ok,
since i was little i have always had sores inside my mouth as long as i can remmeber i did ask my dad as well. my dad said he had always had sores inside his mouth also.

i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years. and he as well always had sores inside his mouth since he was a kid.

i have never shown up positive for hsv 1 and 1 month ago i did show up positive for hsv 1 neg for hsv 2

we had always had unprotected sex, oral, etc
my questions

1. did i have hsv 1 my hole life and never came up?
2. how long do you have hsv 1 for it to show up positive on a blood test.?
3. i think one or two times where i had a sore inside my mouth and i proformed oral, and then had vaginal would that mean me and my boyfriend have genital hsv 1? or maybe could i have gotten lucky?
4. i dont remmeber my lips ever tingling but for the past 2 weeks they have been tingling but no break out inside my mouth yet and also my boyfriend is experincing the same thing.
5. how do i know the differnce between normal bumps on my vagina and abnormal ones? they all look so similar and it drives me crazy i can't tell.
6. i have been very itchy latley on my vagina for couple months but no break outs, not the ones iv'e seen on the net at least. the bumps that have appeared are in my pubic hair and they look like bad hair bumps. do you think i might have genital herpes then?
7. is there any good pictures that it will show me what hsv 1 looks like at all?

sores inside the mouth are usually canker sores. They are genetic and not contagious.

You can have canker sores and also have hsv1 orally too.  did your bf get a herpes blood test too? what caused you to get a herpes test?

Have you had your genitals looked at and gotten tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally to try to figure out why you are itching?
