HSV 1 and Vaginal Yeast Infections

I was diagnosed with HSV1 and negative for type 2. I have had recurrent vaginal yeast infections for years. I have never had a cold sore nor a genital outbreak(that I know of). Something has my immune system compromised because I can not clear up the infections. Something will work, but within a week I have it right back. I was tested twice to make sure it was type 1 and not 2. Could these recurrent yeast infections be herpes outbreaks?

what testing did you have done?  if it was just a blood test, no way to know if it's oral or genital hsv1 but typically when you can't recall symptoms in either location, it's oral herpes. most folks who have hsv1 orally, don't get obvious cold sores to know it.

yeast infections can be hard to get rid of and keep rid of. have they tried putting you on weekly oral diflucan to try to prevent them?  also have you tried anything like femdophilus by jarrow?
