HSV 1 shedding question

Ok, so i have oral hsv-1 and my girlfriend has genital hsv-1. Can she give me hsv-1 of my genitals through her saliva??

You have signficant protection from contracting hsv1 genitally since you have it orally.  Usually just avoiding sex when your partner has genital symptoms is all you need to do to protect yourself from contracting hsv1 genitally.

If your gf only has hsv1 genitally, she doesn't have it in the oral area to transmit it thru oral sex on you.

if this person DOES contract hsv1 genitally, will they experience teh same initial outbreak symptoms such as the flu-like symptoms?

It might be milder than if they didn't already have it, but they should have some symptoms.
