HSV 1 transmission via saliva/hand contact with penis
Recently, I received a handjob where a lot of saliva was involved, though no direct mouth-to-penis contact was involved. A few days later, I had a fever
and despite the fact that I was given antibiotics, it took me a long while to get better (1 week). Over the next 2 weeks I received handjobs with saliva involved but no direct mouth-to-penis contact several more times from the same lady. I also kissed this lady. She recently informed me that she had oral and genital HSV1 infections in the past. She hasn't had an outbreak since her initial infection some years back. She also hasn't had any cold sores in several years. I am concerned that I may have contracted genital HSV1 given the flu
this is really low risk in general. Also you haven't had any obvious genital symptoms either.
It's always best to use a good lube and not saliva in general - the normal mouth flora, isn't always so normal in the genital area plus it's associated with genital fungal infections.
