HSV-2 Test Results

I had a panel of STD test done.  The results for Herpes were the only thing that came back positive.
The results were
HSV-1 aB IgG (3.40 H out of range) I have always gotten a cold sore about once or twice a year.
HSV-2 aB IgG (1.99 H out of range) I did have a pimple on my thigh that was suspicious to me.

Some of the posts say a HSV-2 range of 1.99 with a positive HSV-1 result could mean that the HSV-2 test could be a false positive.  Is that ture and should I retest?

yes that is true and since you haven't had a  + lesion culture it needs confirmed with additional testing.
