HSV-2 exposure in June 2009

Hello I am a 28 year old HSV-1 positive female who was exposed to HSV-2 last year in June 2009. I had no idea this male was infected with HSV-2 neither did he know. We did use protection, but we also have lots of oral sex. He just recently called me 4 days ago, letting me know of his HSV-2 positive results. I have had no symptoms of a OB or any signs that suggest I have HSV-2, but I did immediately get tested(I have to wait a week for my results. Before that I have a negative HSV-2 result when I tested in Dec 2008. I am scared and nervous that I have HSV-2 what is the likely-hood of me contracting HSV-2.

At this point waiting for your results is the best you can do. You had protected genital sex so odds are low ofy ou contracting hsv2 from this partner.
