HSV 2?

Hi, I have been tested for HSV 2, at the 8 week period and the IGG was negativ.  The last test was 3 months ago

I have had a warm to hot sensattion on mainly my penis, but sum on the scrotim on and off over the last month.  The lady I was with had a small bump near her vagina but I did not think anything of it at the time but a freind of mine said it could have been herpies (herpes).

I have not had a breakout on my penis or any thing else that I know of.  

Would herpies (herpes) explain the hot/warm sensation I am expereincing on my penis?  If not, what else could cause this?
Do I need to go back to the docottors?

You can take IGG test now to be sure, burning sentation may be related to others infections. Herpes symptoms vary from person to person basic symtopms but burning sentation also one of herpes symptoms but I guess you don't have sore,blister,rash like,.

Better get a doc to check always only lab test can prove what you have. You ask her to check for Herpes.

testing at 8 weeks was a bit early but really this doesn't sound like herpes going on.

continue to follow up on this with your provider.

Grace, thank you four your reply.  I have read on the docters site that somebody can only have a burn if it is either before or during an outbrake.  My nurse practicioner told me this two.

just a burning sensation on the areas you described and this long into things isn't likely to be herpes. more likely to be jock itch than anything.
