Dr Hook updated his post to you. He read your bf's results in error. Neither of you have hsv2 as I originally told you. he'll need to look into this further with his provider as to why he was originally diagnosed as having hsv2 in the first place.

i read ur post in the std colum but both of your results are negative! is he still on medication?(did he take it when he had his test done?) if not ur results are as stands unless you want to get retested in 3-4 months(more than likely results would b negative). but his relsult maybe have been a low false positive but no one porbally did conformation testing(im finding out happens all the time which is sad i found at least 20 cases of low false psitive scores) with like a rapid assay by bi kit or have a western blot done.
Thank you for your quick response. I asked you experts and was answered by Dr. Edward W. Hook, MD who advised that my fiance appeared to have Herpes 2 but I didnt. His results are lower than mine. Is it because he takes Valtrex daily? Or is it that we are both in the clear?
His: IgM - 1.30
IgG - 0.35
Mine: IgM - 1.81
IgG - 0.64
You are both negative for hsv2 if those are the igg results you've posted.
How was your fiancee originally tested for herpes?
there is no reason to test your kids plus we don't have a good blood test for herpes in kids anyways.
