HSV test results

I recently had a blood test for HSV 1 and 2. My results are as follows:

HSV 1 igG     2.76

HSV 2 IgG    0.13

HSV 1 and 2 IgM   1.38

From what I am reading that means I am HSV 1 positive and HSV 2 negative. Is that correct?

can you help me with my recent test result for HSV?
my results say HSV type two specific Ab, lgG is 0.91 (negative) and then it says positive 1.09. What in the world does that mean do i have it or not is it in my system or no? there is also a note that says it could mean early detection i think that i am more scared then anything i just need to know exactly what this means.

that's just a key that they give, if you're talking about what i think you are.  i had something similar on my test results.  it said Negative 1.09.  it said all this right below my test results, so it did look a little confusing at first, but then i realized it was just a key to the results.

er, something went wrong in my last post and a chunk got taken out of the middle.  i'll try again - the key said Negative (less than) 0.91, Equivocal 0.91 - 1.09, Positive (greater than) 1.09.

actually I'm not sure you even posted the results of your blood test. I think so far you've just posted the ranges of results.  Please call your provider today and ask them what your actual test results were so you know which numbers on the paper you have are the actual test results.
