HSV1 Igg 2.7?

I recently  got my results  and it says  that HSV1 IGG  is reactive and the levels are  2.7.  While  the IGM  levels are  non-reactive.  Is there any  chance that i am false  positive for IGG?

Thanks in  advance.

Thanks a lot Life360. I was wondering since i saw the pictures for cold sores and never  in  my life i  had those. I had  only canker sores on my mouth. In the result paper  it is stated that they used the EIA method. Should i take this so called Western Blot test?

A 2.7 testing at 6 months where the test says 1.2,< is negative yours would fall into the  false postive range and need retesting. Test again now.

Hi, here in the U.S. when someone has the herpes select igG type specific test for herpes, any number 3.5 and below would be considered a false positive and in need of retesting. How long after any exposure did you take this test?
