HSV1 EFFECTS TO A VIRGIN-CAN GENITAL HSV1 BE PASSED TO A MOUTH?

I was 26 years old. I had never had any oral, vaginal, or anal sex and never had any cold sores in my life. I had one guy go down on me, I never kissed him, and I never experienced anything there and the only other thing I can think of is I would kiss guys at clubs. I never got tested as a virgin to know if I had already had HSV1 or any diseases. Other information: My sister who’s had 3 partners, never practiced oral or anal sex, uses condoms is negative for HSV1 and never had the chicken pox. My other sister is still a virgin, no oral, vaginal, or anal sex. As a child, she says she had cold sores. I don't remember.
Anyways, my question is:
Can genital hsv1 be passed to someone’s mouth if the infected penis enters the mouth?
To be Continued..............

The reason I say I got it orally, is because that night I NEVER kissed him............vaccinations for what exactly? I am pretty sure I did not have this. Our family is not prone to this, no one in our family has cold sores and my sisters whom I share food and cups with are negative to HSV1 and I find it very strange that now I am having problems with my skin. I never reacted this way before.

hsv1 genitally doesn't shed much at all compared to hsv1 orally. It's always far more likely to contract hsv1 orally from kissing than from performing oral sex on someone.

you sure can have hsv1 orally even if you were a virgin before this. about 1 out of every 3 of us contract hsv1 orally before we even step foot into public schools.

at this point, be seen any time you have symptoms on your legs for further evaluation. Not likely you'd have multiple blisters show up when you did and they were due to hsv1.  also follow up on all the rest of your symptoms too. if you have a lump on the side of your neck, be seen monday for it to see if you need antibiotics or not.

we always recommend protected sexual contact - whether it is actual sex, oral sex or just naked outercourse.  if the pants are off, a condom should be on is what is the standard that is recommended!

Have you never had any vaccinations at all - not even as a child?

Hi Grace, thank you for replying. I took HSV1 & HSV2. I was negative for HSV2, but positive for HSV1. I was saying the PCR clinic test were idiots for recommending PCR when there are no lesions on my privates.
If I TRUELY contracted this from "kissing" him why didn't I ever break out with a cold sore before?
Only when I had sexual intercourse and sexual contact did I get a cold sore.........doesn't that seem strange to you? They say when you first get infected that the symptoms appear 2-20 days after, and this is EXACTLY what happened. Why does everyone always say oral sex is so safe? If I can give someone genital herpes from going down on them, WHY can't someone who has genital herpes give it to my face? I have thoroughly researched hours and weeks about all this ********, and I cannot find anything about getting HSV1 cold sores from sexual intercourse. Say that his skin is infected by HSV1 on his genitals or around them, he could have given it to me on my face and who knows if I have it genitally because I did not use a condom. Herpes is a SKIN condition, it lives in salive, blood, bodily fluids, and anywhere you were exposed, buttocks, thighs, cheeks, nose, it's really disgusting and I am just going to assume I have it genitally & facially. Where can I see facts about someone giving it to to someone from genitals to face?
I was a virgin, I am pretty damn sure I did not have HSV1 before. Nowadays I have flu like symptoms, aches, tired all the time, I NEVER have gotten the flu for years, and I have never taken any vaccines, ever since I was diseased, I am now suffering from rashes on my upper lip and those strange bumps and itchy burny thighs, and flu like symptoms, headaches, there is this ball at the side of my neck currently, which I assume is a swollen lymph node. My skin is VERY prone to infections. While I have an immune system like a bulldog even though I am very unhealthy, my skin has always been prone to fungus easily in heat etc, so I might just have a freak form of herpes, but no one can help me. I gave the doctors a list of questions, those ******* had no answers. Just directed me to a website. I am tired of websites, since so many people say one thing or the other, and you get more paranoid hearing these horror stories. I am just tired is all. BTW, I couldn't post my whole question above, lol, it only allows 84 digits! (wink)

actually they were not idiots at the clinic by not drawing a herpes igm test on you . herpes igm testing is greatly flawed and current CDC recommendations are that it not be used on adults for the purpose of diagnosing herpes.

the herpes igg blood test result that you posted - was that for hsv1, hsv2 or a combined result?

why would you think you contracted hsv1 orally from performing oral sex instead of contracting it from kissing a partner?  I'm very confused about that part of your post.

Everyone talks about someone with a cold sore giving it to you genitally by going down on you, BUT, what about vice a versa especially with someone who has no HSV1 antibodies?
Genitals giving it to you on the mouth?
I’m assuming I could have HSV1 genitally and on the mouth but I have no idea and I cry every single day because I don’t know what to tell my family.
I kissed this person before, never broke out.
I NEVER kissed him that night when I lost my virginity that’s where I get really confused because that means he probably had it genitally and passed it to my mouth through oral sex.
3 weeks later after sexual intercourse and contact, I broke out with 1 large “pimple” on my cheek. It formed after I knicked the skin with a razor on my cheek and it watered and crusted.
I felt no tingling, no burning, no swollenness, so I thought nothing of it.
I only had sex that 1 time.
A few months later, celibant, no sexual contact with anyone. My sister advised me to get tested warning me that creep was dirty and I could have something and not even know it.
To my horror, I tested positive at 3.09% on the IGG test. I heard IGM can verify if it’s a new infection, but the idiots at that clinic didn’t include it.
As of then, I had had no symptoms.
After that I became extremely paranoid, blisters formed on my leg that were very itchy. They went away.
A few weeks ago, I went to get a polymerase chain reaction test (PCR) that the gyno recommended.
Shes dumb. As I have read, this is only good if there is an actual lesion. I tested negative for both HSV1 & HSV2.
I plan to do the Western Blot test to compare results.
I do not have any outbreaks down below. I do get itchy and burning thighs which is strange because I have never had this and my natural smell has a weird odor.
Sometimes I feel when I pee it’s agitated, BUT, since I have become obsessed, I can say that I might be making myself sick.
I heard there are no tests to tell if you have genital HSV1 unless you have a lesion so I could have both as the “anniversary” of my innocence lost, I have begun to experience symptoms again.
Now, I have gotten about 3 bumps over the last few weeks on my lips.
A rash has formed that NEVER seems to go away. (I also do laser hair removal and that could irritate it, BUT, I have never had such a swollen, red lip)
The last bump hurt when I touched it, it throbbed, itched, burned, tingled, this has been going on for weeks now.
I pierced the bump, blood came out. I squeezed the bump it became bigger but never forms as a cold sore.
I itched it and then kind of touched my lip on the side, a new bump formed there that itched and swelled up.
STILL no leakage. All these bumps are UNDER the skin too which is strange.
