HSV1 for 19 yrs. NEW- throat pain, swollen cheeks and lips.. intraoral. Is it herpes?

I just want to thank you before for anything that could be helpful.

1st - HSV1 19 yrs. All OB's have been on my lip.

Today, I noticed that my throat had a lump and was painful to swallow. Then my mouth, gums & cheeks felt tingly. Weird.

As the day went on, I noticed that my cheeks looked swollen. Inside there was a large red area. No single blister. Just was large & red. Bilateral.
Then upper & lower lips felt swollen. membranes look red. Throat still hurts. Looks like a white ulcer in back of throat. Not round like a canker sore. Low grade temp.

SO. Did I somehow reinfect my self? It feels almost like a primary hsv1. Minus the external sores.
I think I am pretty heathy. No major health issues. I have been reading that it possible to get herpes stomatitis. Is this that?

I know that some people say that its not possible to reinfect your self in the same area. That the virus stays near to point of entry.
Why the swelling of cheeks and lips? Why tingling/weird sensations in mouth?
I can feel a bump where the red is inside cheeks.

Could this be another hsv1 OB?

as I said previously, it's not likely that you have a well established oral herpes infection presenting this way which is why you need to be following up with your providers.  herpes really shouldn't be on your list of causes of your symptoms.

It wasn't really answered. HSV can appear intraoral. Even in pts who aren't immunocompromised.
I am having different symptoms now. Swelling of my lips and cheeks. Throat feels worse then the last time though.

Autoinculation can occur as well but I'm not sure about in the mouth.
As I stated before it almost feels like a primary OB minus Hsv externally.

Any help would be great.
