Like I said it doesn't matter as most people you receive oral sex from will have HSV1. The issue is whether transmission occurred or not. There is no evidence that it did.
Thanks for the info, the sores did not look like herpes although the doctor said it looked like it but then didn't even test for it. I don't think he cared, but the second test was for the antibodies yes
I do not think there is any confusion here.
I wouldn't be so sure it was a cold sore inside of his mouth. That is more likely something else. The lips are a more common place. Nevertheless most oral sex you receive will be from people with HSV1 so there is always a risk.
If infected, you will get lesions where the virus enters the body and surrounds. Hence a few individual sores on the waist line are not herpes in this case.
Your testing also confirms negative, so long as it was for IgG antibodies.
