HSV1 question

In routine tests: I found out I have HSV1 positive , igg > 62.20, HSV2 negative.
Completely asymptomatic.
How much of a deal is this?
Should I be bothered at all?
Is disclosure mandated?
Any issue in hugging children or family when no cold sores are present [cannot remember having one ever?]

Should I be dating HSV1 positive people only?

Around 70% of adults have hsv1. It's very common. You should disclose your fimding with any new partners. No worries about hugging small children.
There is no reason to date only hsv1 positive partners.
Remember this is a very common thing and not a hige deal by any stretch.
