HSV2 - Still no further

Hi there, I feel as if I have been through months of hell with still NO answers! I have been suffering for over a few months now from a very red vulva. At first I was convinced I had Herpes (see previous posts for stories) but after demanding numerous tests (IgG, IgM etc) they have all come back negative. I am now undergoing therapy for serious fear of STD's/Herpes and am having to work everyday at believing that I don't have it but that's really hard. Anyway, I have also had tests for thrush, loads of STD's, candida, you name it, all negative!

Is there anything that it could be?

My symptoms are as follows -
Red vulva for well over a few months, no intense itching but a slight itch and tingling. Some days its more noticable than others.
Bumps higher up on vaginal mound but I tihkn this is due to shaving.
Back pain across the lower back consistently for the same amount of time as red vulva.

I have tried/been prescribed some many things that haven't worked. I've tried thrush treatment Caneston, E4 cream, Hydrocortisone cream, Vagisil, various dry skin ointments and nothing seems to help :( I've also tried cotton underwear, not wearing skinny jeans as much, not using soap or bubble baths etc.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! I might give that a go.

What is a PCR test?

Well first of all i would stop shaving as this for sure can cause skin issues. Topical skin irritations in the genital area like your describing could be fungal related or constant touching and shaving could keep the area inflamed.
This areas skin is very sensitive with millions of nerve endings and the top layer of the skin can become damaged from shaving and become cronic.
Another option is to have a swab of the area and a PCR test performed which is DNA based and if nothing shows up then see a dermtoligish for skin repair solutions.

I should also note that I have been to see a few doctors who have done visual examination and do not believe that what I have is Herpes in anyway but they have been unable to qualify what it actually is!!
