HSV2 but possibly more?

27 healthy male. 6 months ago I got the typical Herpes symptoms. Severe back pain, flu like symptoms, pain while urinating, and a very small looking sore towards the rim of my penis (size of a pin prick). Long story short, both the girl and I were tested via blood and both tested negative. She never had any symptoms. After the initial symptoms subsided, I CONSTANTLY had pro dome symptoms. Back pain, weird tingling in legs/butt/and groin area, pain during and after sex (same girl), and feeling that I had a something along the lines of a bladder infection. Also, ever since the beginning of this my penis has just generally felt tender. There has been a constant barley visible rash around the head of my penis. I kept going in for general tests including bladder tests, prostate tests, and urine tests. Nothing! This went on for the next 4 months. Finally, I went on a water cleanse (Drank only water for 3 days) and it seemed as though all of the symptoms went away. I had an appointment with my doctors to be tested one more time to put to rest the herpes just to be for sure. Went in for a blood test and it came back negative after 5 months from the possible exposure date. Literally the next day I developed sores on my penis. Went in and got them swabbed and it came back positive for HSV2. The small cluster then all joined together to join a giant quarter size sore. The thing is that it didn't even hurt at all. If it wasn't weird that the blood test came back negative after 5 months, I then told the girl and she went and got tested and her blood tests came back negative!! What the heck? It had been 2 months before the original exposure date since I had been with anyone else. For her it was about the same. So that puts both of us at about 8 months. How can we still both be testing negative? Also, I am still experiencing all of the pro dome symptoms. Is this normal? I have literally only had a few times in a six month period where I can even masturbate and it doesn't hurt. Mostly during ejaculation (sorry for tmi). My kidneys seems to hurt, my bladder seems to hurt only after masturbating, and I am always getting these wierd burning and tingling sensations. Also, shortly after my outbreak that was swabbed I got what I thought was a pimple on my lower thigh but later it got infected and had a red area the size of my open hand with the center "sore" oozzing puss. Im not sure if herpes is causing all of these different things or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The igg blood tests look for antibodies and not the actual virus. Antibodies are made to combat the virus. It's estimated that 10% of people with hsv do not make antibodies. Some people take over a year to develop antibodies. It's rare but has happened. You fit in one of these two categories. You may have had this for a long time.
She may not have the virus at all.

Isn't it kind of weird that I got sick with in a week of us having sex for the first time? And then have experienced all of the pro dome symptoms ever since. Never had any symptoms before hand.
Or can a new partner jump start all of these symptoms? I was with a girl for 6 years before being with her.

I have 90% of these symptoms and I also don't know what to do. I am afraid to test and mine had been going on for 12 months. I rules out HIV in my head cos with HIV,I think the symptoms will appear for few weeks or at most 4 months and disappear totally but just like you,I have the same symptoms remain the same since 12 Months.

I hope some can help us out with clues here

You should definitely not hesitate to go get tested loko. I was tested for hiv and ever other std and was negative at 5 months. Tested positive with the herpes swab.
