I am interested in a man who has had Juv Diabetes for over 30 years. He manages his disease well but has had some serious health scares with vision. What is the health risk to him if he contracted HSV2 from me, should we become serious?
Thank you for your timely replies. I am curious to know if you can direct me to any literature on the fact that Type 1 Diabetes is not an issue with HSV2, so that I may show him?
there is no literature out there directly on this. There just is nothing about genital herpes that would be an issue for anyone with diabetes that's all.
His diabetes isn't an issue. If you are on daily suppressive therapy and use condoms consistantly he's very unlikely to contract hsv2 from you anyways. Has he been tested yet to know his own status?

Thanks again.
