HSV2 scare

About 2 months ago I had a lapse of judgment and recieved oral sex from a massage parlor worker for like less than 5 minutes.  After a few weeks of anxiety my doctor results came back negative for the bacterial infections. And I never had anything like red marks or blisters resembling hSV2.  I was starting to feel at ease again till this morning. I woke up with like a prickly feeling on my testicles that lasted a few minutes. I had to take off my sheets to get some air cause it was really hot. After I cooled down it went away. The anxiety came back and I'm over analyzing every bump and follicle. Nothing seems out of the ordinary except for a tiny little raised bump of skin. It's not a blister or anything just a little irritated. It doesn't itch. Just worries the heck out of me. Am I just being anxious or should I be worried that it is HSV2? I've read in these forums before that 21 days is like the max average to have herpes show and it's been a quiet 2 months already. Anyone have any insight?

Yes HSV1 is a possibility from oral sex, but only if you do not have an oral HSV1 infection already.

With no HSV infection at all, then to receive a primary HSV1 infection genitally would not go unnoticed and would be quite distinctive.

Thanks for the reply. Would the transmission rates be equally as low if someone had oral hsv1 and preformed oral sex on someone else? I've heard that that would cause genital herpes as well. In any case, it's been more than 2 months and I haven't noticed anything. I should be ok

Extremely few people have oral HSV2, even then the transmission odds if present are very close to zero.

Genital herpes does not result in issues with the testes.

If there was going to be a genital HSV infection, you'd most likely know within a week.

You're fine with respect to genital herpes.
