Have I got it....please help?

Hi, Im 18 and had oral sex with my girlfriend for the first time 3 days ago. The reason that Im worried is that my girlfriend has had two cold sores on the corners of her mouth about a week and a half now and im worried about contracting genital herpes. I have read articles on the internet which only serve to worry me even more. I am thinking about it alot and wonder whether or not this can make it worse for me like giving me phantom symptoms. Before having oral sex she performed masturbation on me me without lubrication and then continued to oral sex for only about 5 minutes. I havent experienced any major symptoms but i feel a slight burning sensation sometimes on the tip of my penis. I wonder if this is due to worrying about it too much or the fact we didnt use lubrication whilst masturbating. I ahvent experienced any other symptoms and just wonder whether or not the risk of me contracting this virus is high, and if so what should i do. Please get back to me as soon as possible because I am quite worried. Thankyou!

have you ever been tested to know your own hsv status?

odds are what she has at the corners of her mouth isn't two cold sores but angular chelitis. She'll need to follow up on it with her provider.  no more oral sex until it's healed properly though.

Thanks for commenting back. I havent been tested for my hsv status, do you think that it isnt genital herpes or more than likely is, and what is angular chelitis? Thanks again for your reply.
