Help!

I had sex with my boyfriend and later found out he had just cheated on me. I had itching and stinging and went to the doctor and got diagnosed with a yeast infection (they tested me for it and it was positive) They gave me diflucan and it helped a little, but I still had itching and discomfort and a few days later found a cut about an inch long on the lips of my vaginia. This could have been due to my itching. This was in June and I still have these symptoms. They go away for a few days or a week, but then come back. I itch and sting. It almost feels like I am being poked with something down there. Sometimes it is painful to stand or sit due to the itching. I have never had any bumps or anything. Does this sound like atypical herpes or vulvodynia or something? Please help. I am freaking out.

This is not genital herpes being active all the time. You need to return to your provider and get a proper work up done.
