Help

Hello. First of all, thank you for this site, it is very helpful. I have  a question regarding the transmission of herpes type one virus. My boyfriend was just diagnosed with it and I have a feeling that I have gotten it. I went to get tested and will not find out till tomorrow but my symptoms (one bump and some raw skin) are not on my face, they are genital. Is it possible to have HSV-1 down there? I know that is more common on your face ... any information you could provide will be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance!!

Yes very possible, and the symptoms (generally) aren't as bad especially after the first time you get it.

Hey. Yeah, it ended up that I have it. Of course, just my luck and once again, the guy gets off easy. Life just is not fair sometimes ... especially to females. Thanks for your input.
