Help!!

About 1 week ago I had Oral sex with my boyfriend. I had what I thought to be a cold sore, but it had skin forming over it and while I had it it never had any type of liquid inside. It was very small and the day I got it it started forming skin over it after being a little red. My boyfriend got cold sores as a kid. But he is worried I could've gave him HSV2. And I am worried he could've gave it back to me because he also performed oral sex on me. Should I get tested? I tend to over think things and I'm just hoping im okay. I don't have any sores, no symptoms really. But I do feel a little uncomfortable like I have a UTI. What do I do?

The key point here is that you both probably have oral HSV1. For males, this means he is extremely unlikely to obtain a genital HSV1 infection owing to the immunity he has. It may even be impossible.
Your immune system also keeps you extremely safe from a genital infection.

Interchangeable meaning hsv1 can still be on your genitals. that's why I was worried.

No they are not interchangeable. HSV1 is HSV1 regardless of whether it is oral or genital.
