I went to the doctor because I had a single to me it looks like a blister on my bottom and on my inner leg the doctor told me that it look like an infection of the skin he called it a folicitis boil my question is can he tell by looking if it was herpes  since they have seen it so much he also said where is located was a very unusual place for herpes when it popped it left just a red flesh colored spot if it was herpes would there be pain and would it turn yellow after it scabs can boils be soft just want to make sure I don't need a second opinion

Hsv can be difficult to diagnose by sight. Even std experts get it wrong from time to time. From what you describe is would agree with your Dr as this doesn't sound like hsv. The rear is a prime place for bumps, pimples,boils...etc.
