Herpes? Anxeity?
3-4 week have protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex with only 1 small kiss on the lips. After 2 weeks i woke up with my left eye red, i wasnt very worried i thought it was allergy or irritation. After 3 days my eye wasnt getting better so i want to the eye doctor. The doctor said that it was a viral infection since my lymph node is inflamed and discharge came out of my eye. He gave me eye drops. Here my anxiety started to kick in and i started freaking out. I started asking my self is it herpes? I checked my lips, my gums all my face and if i find a pimple and directly start to panic. A day after i started to feel my balls and lips are a bit itchy though no sign of redness or anything and i also saw pimples on my foreheah wasnt ithcy or painful dut they waerent there before. Finally yesterday i started feeling at their is a pimple on my gums that really bothered me. When i think about the whole situation i freak out. So my gauestion is my infected eye a sign of herpes??
viral eye infection dear - you contract those from touching surfaces around you as well as just being within 3 feet of another person. nothing sexual about it.
Its a relief to hear that! In my head i know its 95% anxeity ive been diagnosed multiple times with hypochondria. The thing that made me worry is that my intercourse was with a sex worker and having a viral eye infection made wonder what it could be.

Even though it's the middle of summer for most of us, there are still lots of viruses going around that cause the colds we are used to getting in winter. No reason at all to suspect that anything you've mentioned is due to a std.
