Herpes Concern

Hello

I am male 29, I had a sexual encounter with a lady 26 we had unprotected vaginal, oral sex and I slightly penetrated her anus.
I am writing because I am obviously concerned about my symptoms since I had this encounter which was 2 weeks ago.
These are my symptoms

-Day 8 tingling starts on buttocks area near and around anus and it hasn’t stopped since
-Day 8 spot appears in-between anus and genitals with a little pus hurt a little gone after 3-4 days (Never had one there)
-Day 9 headache mild but continuous hasn’t stopped since then (I hardly ever have heaaches if i do they last a couple of hours not days)
-Tingling sensation on penis head seems red and irritated wrinkly on the urethra but no pain whilst urinating
- Itching tingling around genitals.
- Swollen and hurting glands in genital area.

I am concerned about the continuous headache and the tingling/numbness/burning sensation on my buttocks and obviously my exposure to herpes. Are these preliminary symptoms of Herpes ??  Do they sound like the initial stage?

Are these relevant symptoms to Herpes and how long do I have to wait until I can get tested  I am very worried as you could imagine.
Any help advice would be grateful.

Thanks

Its been more than a week

I am not sure about the first antibiotics

It was a single dose for 4 pills

The second treatment is as follows

Metronidazole 400mg

1 twice a day for 5 days

Azithromycin 250 mg

2 off as single dose on day 1
and
1 capsules once daily for 4 days

Yes, you need to go back again, but give it a week to work, then go back if the discharge is still present.  It is possible that the infection may now be in the prostate, and you might have to have a longer course of antibiotics.  Which antibiotics have you taken for this?

Hello Terri,

I would like to thank you for your response.

I went to the clinic the second time and they gave me a second round of antibiotics
They did further test and again found nothing (urine/swab.
After the second round of antibiotics the discharge stopped for a few days and now has started again.
My groin glands feel tender and are slightly swollen and there is a persistent throbbing feeling all most of the time but they do not hurt when I touch them.
I have also been getting a burning sensation on the bottom end of the penis tip.

I am very confused/worried what can this be?
Should they do more tests at the clinic?
Obviously something is not right if the glands are tender and the swollenness and tingling has not subsided after all this time.

Any advice help would be much appreciated
Thanks for you help, time and advice.

I'm not sure what was done, but I'm guessing maybe a gram stain, which looks for pus cells in the urethra.  Pus cells indicate an infection, which is why you were given antibiotics.  You need to go back and be evaluated again.  Don't urinate for two hours before you go in for accurate testing.  Sometimes a urethral infection can persist or recur.  They may wish to try another antibiotic next time.

Also, herpes testing should be completed four months from the encounter for accuracy.  The herpes test looks for antibody, which is not something you get from someone else, it is something you make, and it takes time to make it.  You mentioned that your encounter was 2 weeks before you wrote to me, so testing very recently may not give you correct answers.  It might, but no way to be certain this early.

Hello again,

I have been for STD check and all have come back clear. Now no more sores have appeared. But the problem now is that white fluid is coming from  my penis tip in the morning its cloudy. I went to the clinic and took swabs and they gave me antibiotics and said everrything was fine. Two weeks later the white fluid has started again.
What could it be?
I am very confused,
Could you please help.

Thanks

Tingling by itself is not a concern to me, but the sore that you mention with pus on the perineum is very concerning indeed.  Did you have anyone look at that?  When you mention that you've "never had one there", have you had sores anywhere else in the genital area, between waist and mid-thigh?  the headaches are also slightly worrying but that could be many things, including a simple flu. The swollen glands are also worrying to me.  Have you had any testing done at all?  Blood or swab testing?
