Herpes? Or what!

12 weeks ago I had a stupid encounter with a stranger. She gave me protected oral sex, condom used, but sucked hard on my balls. No intercourse. 10 days later and ever since my entire scrotum has been red. It has receded and come back but has never gone. Still red now tho not crimson. Whole area. No blisters or sores, no broken skin. Just red, not sure if it tingled or if that was Internet in my head! Went to doc (small town). He said not herpes. Went back in a week as not cleared, he said still not herpes, sent me to gum. They said "not presenting as H" but some people don't present for years. Tested for other STIs, all clear. Saw another doc he gave me three way cream, bacterial, fungal, yeast, soothes but doesn't clear it. No itchiness, no pain, no swelling, just feels like it glows, like sunburn. Had unprotected sex with GF about a dozen times since, her driving this activity as I'm too scared. Only thing she has said is she's had a weird period that stopped and started again and then a little "old blood" when she wiped. Only change for me is after sex, under my foreskin, sometimes slightly red, tiny bumps on head of penis which clear with canesten. Help, worried sick, does this sound like atypical herpes, or is there such a thing? Thanks for any advice, great board.

most of the time it's fungal or even just irritation going on.  sometimes the simplest thing like just powdering your testicles once or twice a day with corn starch based powder is helpful to absorb excess moisture and reduce friction while the skin recovers.

Thanks Grace, you're a diamond.

I'd read so much that said someone with oral H can transmit it to genitals as Genital H or hsv1 in genitals I'd assumed it also meant testicles. I I did notice her saliva was very very nicotine stained, nice huh. Could it be a nicotine burn? Seems strange given it took 10 days to react.

Thanks really appreciate your time

protected oral sex isn't a risk for std's. sucking on the testicles isn't either.

no std causes a 'weird period' either.

no reason to think this is herpes going on. continue to follow up with a dermatologist as needed.
