Herpes Result Negative..12 Day Old Possible Exposure...Proceed as Normal?

If I could ask your opinion,,,If at this stage 12 days after I had oral sex with this person (give/receive..no protection) I am still not showing any sort of symptoms AND I tested Negative for both Herpes (had a full battery STD test...negative throughout)...do you feel it's reasonable that I should proceed as if I do not have it and resume my normal sex with my partner??

I tested 6 days after my encounter and the person I was with that had me needing to test just to be sure had no outward signs of Infection. Am I being needlessly paranoid with a clean bill of health in my hands?

With no symptoms, I cannot see any real need to test. The first tests indicated that you have no HSV at all, 1 or 2, is this right?

If this is so then it is unlikely that the infection would be silent and would have produced symptoms 2-10 days post the infection. Hence for such a low risk activity, I'd be moving on.
