Herpes Select Test

I get tested for HSV 1 & 2, 37 weeks after possible exposure (unprotected vaginal).

HSV 1 IgG = 1.6 (positive)
HSV 2 IgG = 0.54 (negative)

Is the result of the HSV test accurate after 9 mnths exposure??

but i'm still experiencing itching sensation around my genital area..
and sometimes at the tip of my penis..a little bit discomfort..
don't know it caused by STD or anxiety...
Other STD test also came back normal...

If all your tests are coming back normal then it's not likely to be std related at all.  Could be anxiety, could be just being hyper aware of everything down there these last few months or it could be something as common as jock itch. Continue to follow up on it with your provider but time to stop thinking std's as a cause.

thanks for your opinion..

i'll try to finish up my oral pill prescribed by my Dr..
it's an anti fungus callled ketoconazole and daily cream..
hopefully it will get better...

i'm just being depressed, fear, anxious and guilty for the past 9 mnths after the incident.
extremely worried of contracting any STD's..
Thank god my test came back normal...
I promise not to do the same mistake again...

Hi there..
Here i go again... :-D
my itching sensation seems to be ok now...
but i'm still using the antifungal cream for 2 wks now...
hopefully will be fully recovered later..
it's a kind of fungal infection @ jock itch...
