Herpes? Symptoms in 4 Days?

Hi, I'm looking to get some more information while I'm waiting for a chance to head to the clinic. I woke up today and found a rash near but not on my genitals - a bunch of tiny red bumps, one of which was pus filled like a pimple, all in my pubic hair region. There are a few miniscule ones near the base of my penis, but none on my penis or testicles. They aren't painful, itchy or anything, at least yet.

I was last tested for STDS about 9 months ago, and tested clean. Since then I had had two two-night stands, using protection. Four days ago I started having unprotected sex with a woman. She said she had recently tested clean, and I have no reason to no believe her. Is it possible that if I did catch it from her symptoms would show up so soon? We have been having a lot of sex the past few days, could my rash be caused by chafing? Are there any other possibilities? Am I reaching for straws?

The proper term isn't "clean" when testing for STD's.  Just because someone has an STD doesn't make them dirty.  You are dirty if you don't shower.  So let's change the wording.

This rash could be anything and you need to see your provider.  This could be from friction or from heat anything.

Chances are you and your partner haven't tested for HSV.  You should look over your testing to see if you have a type specific hsv igg blood test.
